Hello there, it's been a while. For some time now, I have had a MySpace account. Before you say "a-ha!, so that's where you've been," that is not why I haven't been posting here. In fact, I rarely use it, I simply haven't been posting anywhere but Syncboard lately. I got the MySpace account because several of my friends from LiveJournal went there and I wanted to keep up with them.
Actually I'm not a big fan of MySpace. The reasons I don't like it are that A, it is advertiser supported and I think that is the wrong direction for the internet to go and B, they set way too many cookies. I counted the cookies the MySpace server had to set in order for me to sign in and post something and it was in the neighborhood of a dozen. The service is so bad about cookies that I refer to it as CookieSpace.
Anyway, after months of nothing, I finally posted something on my CookieSpace blog. We'll see if anyone even reads it. I repost it here, so you won't have to read it there.

Am I the only one who thinks that Bill Maher is a lazy son of a bitch? Why is it that he gets to go on hiatus until August 25th, while Jon Stewart barely takes time off, even for family matters? I like both shows, but I salute Jon Stewart. He doesn't have the balls that Bill Maher has, probably because his show is on Comedy Central, while Maher enjoys the nearly total free reign of a subscription service. Regardless, there he is there every day, plugging away at those fools in Washington. I think if Bill Maher is serious about the political views he supposedly holds, he should say to hell with the hiatus and stay in production through the summer. Stay the course, and give the Republicans one more thing to sweat about.
